A free pattern by [link]

There are four in this set, they are 300 pixels by 300 pixels. The example is what they look like on a 8.5X11 canvas. (I just shrunk it for web viewing)

These can be used for personal or commercial use. I like to see what you do with them, but it isn't required.

Very sweet. Might create some faux LED screens with blending modes.

ok, I tried to reupload it as a .pat, but every time I do dA converts it to a .psd file for some reason. I don't know why.

Anyway here is how to fix it. If you are using win7 open the folder where you saved it. go to organize>folder and search options. in the window that pops up click on the view tab, scroll down and uncheck "hide extensions for known file types". Now just change the part of the name after the . from psd to pat and drag and drop into Photoshop. It will now show as a pattern when you use the paintbucket tool and switch to pattern and the dots that you want to use.

Any suggestions

They were made in cs 3 I think... (either that or cs2). The easiest way to open them is to just drag them from whereever you saved them to your PS window. HTHs.

fixed your problem. the file is called " Polka_Dots_by_tash11.psd "

but it ain't a .psd .. it's a photoshop-pattern (.pat)

simply replace the ending
.psd with .pat and cs3 is able to read teh file.
